About Our Cooking Camps

Cook, bake, and decorate as we focus on teamwork and how to get organized. Young chefs will learn what it's like to cook as a chef in a commercial kitchen. We will have local chefs stop by to show us their skills and they will learn how food gets from the farm to the tables.

At Little Chefs In Training young chefs will learn about food that is both tasty and healthy. They will be preparing the meals themselves. Even if it’s your child’s first ever hands-on cooking experience, our camp is bound to become a memory that they will never forget.

We are currently offering Part Time Day Camps Monday - Thursday. Friday's are Specialty Day Camps with Guest Speakers, Art Classes and Sewing Classes, and Parent & Me Classes. Camps are open for children ages 5 to 16. Click on the Class Schedule Button for registration.

Part Time Camp Information

  • Days: Monday - Thursday
  • Days: Specialty Camps: Fridays - Guest Speakers, Mommy & Me, Sewing Classes, Art Classes
  • Time: 9 am - 1:00 pm & 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Price: $70.00 per day for 4 hour camps
  • Price: $40.00 per day for 2 hour camps
  • Class Size is Limited to 12 students per week

2020 Summer Camp Weeks

Week 1 : 6/8- 6/11

Cake Decorating**(Ages 10-16)

In this camp, kids will learn the basics of cake decorating. They will learn techniques of piping, leveling, and how to make buttercream, fillings and more. Campers will take their cakes home to share with family and friends.

Week 2: 6/15 - 6/18

Cookbook Club **(Ages 7-10)

In this camp we will work through the awesome cookbook "Master Chef Junior Bakes". Your camper will love to try all of the yummy desserts in this camp. They will also get to take the book home to continue baking.

Week 3: 6/22 - 6/25

Southern Food **(Ages 10 -16)

In this Southern Food savory camp your camper will learn, cook, and taste a different southern dish everyday. Parents are welcome to join in on the tasting at the end of our camp day.

Week 4: 6/29 - 7/2

Mystery Box & Nailed It ** Monday & Tuesday (Ages 7-10) & Wednesday & Thursday (Ages 10 - 16)

Our Fun Competitive Camp week is one of our most popular camps. We will host our Mystery Box Challenge on Monday & Wednesday and Nailed It Baking Challenge on Tuesday & Thursday,

Week 5: 7/6 - 7/9

Bread & Pastry **Ages (10-16)

In this camp create yummy pasties and breads, using puff pastry, yeast bread dough and more. They will get to take home their creations to share with family.

Week 6: 7/13 - 7/16

Cookbook Club **Ages (7-10)

In this camp we will create recipes from Food Networks The Big, Fun Kids, Cookbook. They will get to try their yummy creations and take home this book to continue cooking at home.

Week 7: 7/20 - 7/23

International Food ** (Ages 10-16)

Young Chefs will call on their culinary skills to create international foods from Greece, India, Japan and Argentina. Their plates will be full of color and yummy food at the end of this camp.

Week 8: 7/27 - 7/30

Creating A Cooking Video ***(Ages 10-16)

Students will cook, record, edit and produce their own top down videos. This a fun and creative camp please bring phone, IPads, or lab tops to work with.

Week 9: 8/3 - 8/6

Restaurant Wars **(Ages 10 -16)

Sign up with your friend, this will be a team challenge. You have to choose from our restaurant concepts. Create a name, create a menu; then test, cook and perfect recipes for the last day challenge.
